Last week, we embarked on a journey, and I'm back here today to continue the discussion from our last session. We put out various messages throughout the week, spreading the good news of the Gospel.

In our previous conversation, we discussed the concept of being anointed for the assignment. We highlighted the story of David, a man chosen by God not for his appearance but for his heart. Unlike Saul, who looked the part but lacked the right heart, David was anointed as the king, coming fresh from the field. Although he wasn't immediately crowned king, the anointing on his head set him on a path of preparation for what lay ahead.

You may find yourself in a similar position today, where you sense a divine calling but consider it too significant for your current state. However, I want to assure you that you have what it takes for the task ahead. The Lord has chosen you for it, just as He chose David. We find confirmation of this concept in 2 Corinthians 2:14, which tells us that God makes His grace visible through us. We are partners in God's endless triumph, raising standards against the enemy's attacks.

Today, I want to dive deeper into the story of David, particularly in 1 Samuel 17, where we see him facing the giant, Goliath. This narrative holds essential lessons for us all. David's first words to King Saul are significant: "Let no man's heart fail because of him."

What David meant is crucial for us today. We should not let our hearts fail in the face of seemingly insurmountable challenges. Losing heart can lead to defeat, and we need to understand that, in Christ, we are more than conquerors. The victory has been won, and we are partners in His endless triumph.

David goes on to share an inspiring story about his past. He tells Saul how he protected his father's sheep and faced down both lions and bears to save a single lamb. He refused to let even this seemingly insignificant challenge slide. His actions were not about a single lamb but about establishing a pattern of not allowing open doors for the enemy.

The enemy is not after the little lamb but the opportunity it presents to establish a pattern and steal your testimony and confidence. The enemy wants you to lose heart, making you incapable of standing up against the giant.

Consider the example of King Saul, who was commanded by God to destroy the Amalekites but spared King Agag and his livestock. This act led to future troubles when Haman, a descendant of King Agag, plotted to destroy an entire generation. David's actions had far-reaching implications, sparing future generations from this threat.

Let's learn from Esther's story. She was anointed for her task, and her bravery saved an entire nation. This should remind us not to underestimate the significance of each challenge we face. We must pursue every "little lamb" and not let it slide, for it has implications beyond what we can see.

Remember, there is oil on your head for the task at hand. The Lord is with you, and you are anointed for such a time as this. Don't lose heart; instead, chase after the bear, the lion, and the giant. Your testimony and confidence will grow as you overcome each challenge, ensuring that future generations don't have to face the same battles.

In conclusion, I encourage you not to dismiss the seemingly small challenges in your life. Don't say, "It's just a little lamb." Recognize that your anointing empowers you to face these challenges head-on. So, chase after them, reclaim your testimonies, and stand strong against the giants. Your victory has eternal significance, and you are an essential part of God's endless triumph. Stand firm, and let the world sing songs of your victories, just as they did for David.

Take this message to heart, and let it ignite the power of your anointing. You are well-equipped for every task before you, and the Lord is with you every step of the way.

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you. May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace, the absence of all things harmful, the presence of all thing beneficial, nothing missing, nothing broken.
