Made For So Much More: Embracing Your Destiny

May 10, 20233 min read

Do you ever feel lost or unsure of your purpose in life? It's easy to become frustrated when you're unsure of what you're meant to do. However, there's no need to be discouraged. You were created with a unique purpose, and you have been anointed by God to fulfill it.

Anointing is the act of consecration and the smearing of oil. In the Old Testament, the priests were doused with oil over their heads, which was symbolic of the Holy Spirit doing a work on the inside of them. Similarly, when you come to accept Jesus Christ as your savior, the Holy Spirit takes residence in you, and you become anointed.

God has set you apart and anointed you to be used by Him. You may be creative with many thoughts and ideas. If so, write them down and ask the Holy Spirit how you can use them to share the good news of Jesus Christ with others. If you're passionate about certain things or a particular people group, God can use that passion to spread His love.

Sometimes you may feel like you're in a dry season and that you're not experiencing God's anointing or presence. This may be due to things in your life that are hindering your spirit man. It's essential to examine your life and look for areas that have dulled your spirit. Maybe it's something that you've been watching, listening to, or entertaining that isn't necessarily feeding you with the things of God. When our spirit man becomes dull, it can hinder the flow of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Holy Spirit may be highlighting something in your life that you need to lay aside so that you can experience His anointing and presence.

God has also given you a story, and people need to hear it. They need to know how Jesus Christ has transformed your life, how you have navigated the challenges of life, and how you handle adversity. You can communicate your story through writing, singing, or creating something practical that can help others. Your story can inspire and encourage others and help them see how Yahweh brought you from where you were to where you are now.

In conclusion, God has set you apart and anointed you for a purpose. You can rely on Him and follow Him. The Holy Spirit will reveal things to you and help you fulfill the things He has called you to do. If you're in a dry season, examine your life and lay aside anything that may be hindering the flow of the Holy Spirit. Share your story with others and help them see how Jesus Christ has transformed your life. Remember that you are anointed for a purpose, and you can rely on God to help you fulfill that purpose.

Trust in the grace and power of God to fulfill the calling that He has placed on your life. Keep chasing after the God-given passions and watch as His anointing works through you.

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you. May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace, the absence of all things harmful, the presence of all thing beneficial. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Amen.
